2011 BMW M3  [0.00]
My rs turbo has done 93K (all MOT's to back it up!) it's 25 years old so that works out at 3680 per year, not surprising really, seeing as in my possesion it's been off the road for like 5 of those years and done 0 miles in that space of time, plus it is an old ford so should be broken more than it runs!

Our 320d has a fairly average 64k for a 55 plate...

and we've also got an e30 325i with 124k on a 1990 G plate

Hi All,

My first post!

Mine is a 320d with 120,000 (FBMWSH) when I purchased, but the drive was so tight it stopped me buying an equivalent e46 with much less mileage!

now it has 131000 on it...hope to get much much more on it.....

Still going strong though Scott. I would keep it, I love your car.

The only thing I don't like is the fact that you can hang off my rear bumper on the M4 and I can't get away from you haha.

Must pop round for a cuppa soon ;-)

got about 34k on it now. Can't bear to look at what it might be worth now (although it hopefully hasn't lost too much)!

Haha, I'm the same, I bought my E320cdi estate in May, with 50k miles on it, which is quite high for me, but thought I would run it as the family wagon for 4 years and sell it with 90-100k miles on it, however, I have been using it and it is now at 90,000 already, done 4800 in the last 4 weeks alone and still got another month of buying so will probably hit 100,000 miles before I have had it a year.
Luckily I really like it so don't mind keeping it, cause it is probably worth a packet of Cheesy Puffs and a Curly Wurly!

Doing what diesels were made for really eh. Isn't it reasonable to expect modern diesels to do this sort of mileage with ease.

Be interesting what petrol engine mileages are out there. Can't imagine they're as high or as many in numbers?

What actually impresses me is how you lot on 100k have had the patience to sit in the cabin for all those miles.......serious amount of time spent in the car. Suppose loads of reps do it year in year out.

I know one of the guys on the Merc forum has done 500,000 miles in his 6 cyl Petrol E Class, now that is mileage.
Although Mercs are not as bullet proof as the owners would like you to think, he has had 18 sets of tyres, 6 sets of brakes and two new front wishbones, so has cost him a few quid!!

Yeah right.........I'd call those items consumables lol. Very impressive. Bet those miles were done in comfort to be fair also.
