335D Eibach + Koni Yellow too low

My car (blue) has brand new suspension setup from strut monkeys.

Compared to my friends 335xi (black) with stock struts and eibach springs, mines a lot lower

Any recommendations or springs to raise it? Thinking Dinan or bmw yellow would be my only option.

Do you have the correct Eibach kit for your car?

I have Koni yellows with Eibach prokit springs and my car sits more like the black car, your car looks much lower for some reason.

Do you have the part numbers of the springs? I'm pretty sure they aren't the correct springs (or then they are Sport Line springs, not the Pro-Kit which lowers less). There can't really be any other reason...

Good point. I'll have to check when I do my arms. I don't believe strut monkeys even carries sport line but I'll ask

Old picture but at that point I had my suspension installed and it had a chance to settle.

Hmm honestly I don't think I'm that much lower than that. Maybe the fronts do.

I do have really sunk wheels and and abnormal amount of camber. I do get my apex next week and alignment, so I'll repost some pictures to compare to yours again

Curious to see how it looks with the Apex wheels, I'm planning on doing a very similar setup with same suspension.

It could be due to the fact that you have a diesel also. I put the BMW performance suspension on my 335d and it sits much lower than I expected it would. It's perfect, but I didn't think it would be as low as it is. That little bit of extra weight seems to make quite the difference.

That looks like you have Eibach Sportline, not the ProKit.

I think you are right. I talked to strut monkeys and he said the exact same thing. The diesel are heavier

Yes the diesels are heavier but they use the same springs as the 335i, which is also quite heavy. However according to Eibach the 335d should be lowered around 20mm front and 0mm rear, and this looks much lower than that.

Yeah, something is definitely feefed. I'm guessing wrong spring part # but could also be wrong strut

What does strut monkey say?

Can you post up part numbers if you have them?

The strut shouldn't affect ride height, at least not make it lower.

Meant to include the word mounts above i.e. wrong strut mounts but even if the kit came with the wrong mounts they wouldnt cause such a drastic drop

How does it ride, bump stop city? Is there normal droop when you jack the car up? Anything from chris @ strutmonkey?

Ended up looking pretty good. Everything from strut monkeys was correct. It's the fact that the diesel weigh more. Since I'm deleted I have to remove the def tank and stuff and that might help with the ride height

eibach pro too low on 335d

I have the eibach pro kit and koni yellows too and it has settled in front to the point it's too low IMO. I like the look of your BMW performance springs better. Do you know a good place to buy those besides dealer?

Looks like they discontinued the e90 performance springs. Not available on getbmwparts.com
