Maybe you had some serious heat soak? I don't think that the secondary cats are limiting power. If they are, it would be a marginal amount at best. I'd think you'd be around 340ish, but I could be wrong.

My WRX was around 305whp. We have about the same mods, and my 335i is way faster than my WRX.

Dyno numbers mean nothing unless you're comparing to the same dyno.

I haven't dynod my car yet but I have the world record for N55 AWD 1/4 mile. 12.1 @ 113mph trap. I would assume to be around 370WHP on a dynojet, less on a mustang or dyno dynamics.

Still doesn't matter, you can set up a dynojet to present 500WHP as 200. Who knows how that dyno is calibrated.

What the hell is the point of dynoing it then. Whether psyched or disappointed with the results, you're still being lied to haha.

People get confused and thing the point of a Dyno is to know how much horsepower you are making. That's not exactly true - the point of a Dyno is to baseline your car stock or before additional modifications and then know how much difference a mod made.

If your car is 200WHP stock on the dyno and you made 240 after the mods, than you know your mod made 40WHP difference. Dynos are really a tool to help tuners better tune cars, etc. On the forums we tend to use them as bragging rights in a HP shootout, but in reality that's the thing they are worst for unless everyone is comparing on the same dyno with the same operator.

Solid and informative answer. I think my butt is a more cost effective way of measuring gains

I have a cobb protune on my 11 xdrive e92

I made 340/384 on 93 and 375/490 on 50/50 e-mix

All I have is the VRSF downpipe.

I wanna go to the track to see what it does, I've only run it on the street.

I remember reading about this. I believe someone was arguing that the F32's N55 puts out a bit more power. Don't recall wether or not that was confirmed to be true.

I wouldn't mind being able to put that down!

It is true, there is a 4in turbo outlet compared to the 3in of the older cars. But that's not an AWD drive car, which is what this thread is about. AWD cars have greater efficiency loss.

The only thing stopping me from doing a dyno is that

A) I don't have a baseline and

B) I can't seem to find a decent one in the New Jersey area. The two recommended to me are now defunct...
