Wicked Wheels - Guildford

Just wondering if anyone used them

My summer wheels need a refurb before rubber gets fitted. Was going to do DIY but really they could do witha full refurb.

When I spoke to them they mentioned they do a full powder coating for around £55 per wheel.

Before I sign with them wondering on what experiences people had.

Ok, I used them middle of last year for a previously owned TT with the 19 RS wheels.

It took them 2 attempts (and 3 on one wheel) to get a perfect finish (specs of dust in places under the paint).

In the end they were ok, but the issue is they dont have a clean room (the place is a tip).

A mate just had a Cayenne wheel done and it had a couple of specs under the paint.

As I said to him, if you werent bothered about a perfect finish then you'd just get a cheap onsite job done.

Personally I would stay with Lepsons or a large outfit with clean facilities.

when a mate bought an AUC M5 from Hindhead BMW they did proper 100% refurb - worth asking who they use and if they will front a job/lend you a car/some wheels.

Magic77,

I have used WW at Guildford a few times and had absolutely no problems with their services. I have put others onto them and had good feedback on all referrals. I've always suggested speaking to Kevin Bland [WW gaffer at G'ford] to discuss requirements/expectations/pricing with him before committing.

In short big thumbs up from me !!!!

I've used Wicked Wheels twice.

They sent my 313M to Lepsons who had trouble matching the colour ... but the refurb itself is superb.

Kevin was very straight nd decent to deal with - I can only speak highly of his manner and the time he spent trying to sort my wheel to my satisfaction.

Another very pleased punter who would recommend Wheel works here.

Last time I used them was last Sept, charged me £50.00 pw + VAT.

Ed had his winters done there as well,I think he was pleased.

I believe it's still £50 or £60 if you choose a custom or more complicated colour to mix up.

I dropped my car with them at 9am, by 4pm the wheels were back on it and I drove away.

I believe they have contracts with the abundent car dealerships around that way, I know that Ford used to/still do send their RS Focus cars there when offering the buyer black/anthracite wheels rather than the naff flat silver they are painted with in the factory.

There certainly a very busy outfit and as you say do lots of refurbs for local car dealers.
They also have a new tyre outlet which source tyres and fit them.

I ordered my Vreds from Camskill and had them delivered to Wheelworks, they then fitted them to the refurbed wheels,no charge.

My GPower wheels were refurbed in matt anthracite,£50.00 pw +VAT

My Alufelgen CS7's were done in hyper silver £50.00 pw+VAT

@Magic, give Roger a call,top fella

Another vote for Wheel works in Crawley. Used them twice now and each time the results have been great.

Ian are you running different wheels front and back.

Car looks great in both shots, not sure which I would have on the car.
