I installed washers on my center support bracket as well. It did not rub on initial install but clearance was a little too close for comfort, so I ended up adding washers later on, but i never heard any banging or anything.

Mine does not have any high pitched tinging, so I'm not sure what you are referring to in terms of that noise. Mine sounds very similar to the video I posted - the camera angle/positioning may also have something to do with it.

I forgot that I have this video that I took from my cell phone moments after I finished installing VRSF Catless downpipes and AA exhaust (note: this was before I added Vibrant resonators):

I'll try and take a video. I think the alignment on the rear three pieces is off a little bit and I'm missing the bar that goes from muffler to muffler for extra stability, so I think that has something to do with it as well. I'm in contact with Viral at AA to see if he can source me one. Glad to hear I am not the only one that needed to do the washers though haha

Reputable shop in Columbus, Ohio or one man show???

Not sure this is the right section but my father has a 07 328i Wagon that my friend and I helped build/did all the modifications here in North Carolina.

He lives in Columbus, Ohio and I would like to know who you guys would recommend for general service/preventative maintenance? Not real big in the car scene up in Ohio so I'm not sure which shops do good work? Any feed back would be awesome. Thanks

What's cheap? I have my stock e92 335i exhaust sitting at my buddy's shop collecting dust.

I got my window trim vinyl wrapped at Shades in Fairfield. He told me he does full car vinyl wraps as well.

Perfect...that's exactly what I want to get wrapped. What color did you wrap yours? I'm deciding between gloss black and matte but lean toward gloss since my grilles are gloss. Mind sharing the price you were quoted? Thinking of doing interior trim as well.

Definitely go with gloss. It looks much cleaner than matte IMO. I wrapped the window trim, did headlight overlays, and tinted side markers. Shades did the work (I supplied the materials) for $150 total. I bought my vinyl from Shadowlinetrim.com but the tint guy at Shades told me I should have just purchased through him because he has the same exact material for cheaper.

Gloss black it is. Hmmmm....any more pics of your headlights? I really wanted to have Euro xenons for the clear reflector, but honestly I just can't justify $800-$1200 for Euro xenons just to have that feature. I've been afraid of putting any tint on there because I didn't know how long it would last. Did you do a solid color overlay or tinted? I want to get the interior trim done as well so I'm thinking this could be in the $300 range or so. Maybe more if he's supplying the material.

Yeah, I cant justify buying Euro xenons either just for the clear reflector. For that price, I can get them completely blacked out/modified through OSS.

Its a tinted overlay (not full blackout). I'm ok with how it turned out actually. This will suffice until I decide to do a complete headlight mod.

Quick clarification...did you wrap the door pillars gloss as well? Those are matte. Wonder if I should wrap those gloss as well.

Good question. No, the door pillars are not wrapped. Theyre still factory "matte" colored. I dont think Ive seen anyone wrap those in gloss...I've only seen them in carbon fiber (which I dont like). You can always try it! If it looks like shit, you can peel it off!

I've got a couple rolls of black vinyl sitting on my floor. I'm planning on doing it this weekend. I've already plasti-dipped teh orange side markers and I've replaced the orange corner markers with smoked out ones. This is the last piece to murdering the car out. I think I'm going to attempt to wrap the 335i on the back with the black too (or at least plasti-dip them) just to bring them in line with everything else.

See David, I did post that I sold the BMW. I thought I did.

Here is the replacement. Nothing like the BMW but still a pretty nice vehicle all the same. 2014 Jeep Grand Cherokee Summit Edition

I think the gloss may look decent...it could go well with the tinted glass.

How long ago did you do your vinyl wrapping work? I called Shades today and they said they don't do any sort of vinyl wrapping nor would they give me the name of anyone who does it. Needless to say I'm disappointed because I really REALLY want this done locally rather than going all the way up to Chicago or some shit to do it. Do you know who your contact was by chance?

Seriously? I got it done last December. The owner did the work. I dont know why he wouldnt do it considering he does window tinting. He even told me that he has vinyl wrapped entire cars before.

You could reach out to Spade Kreations and see if they do it. Not sure how good they are though. I know their window tinting has gotten worse over the last few years. The guy who used to do Spade's window tinting is the owner of Shades in FF.

That really surprises me...
