If you were local to long beach, there's a few spots open for a working at a really nice smoke shop called amsterdam, sorry to hear about your troubles. If you are really mechanically inclined, you should try and pick up some side jobs as a handy mechanic or something of that nature. Also I hear some home depot's and recycling companies are hiring currently as well. I forgot which recycling company though. It sounds like its nasty but 90% of work I did on those grounds never involved me touching soda cans or anything of that nature as you might assume. Not to mention its a multi-million dollar business so the pay is great !

No one can guarantee you are not going to be deployed. I can tell you that if you can read/write Farsi fluently I can get you into a very high priority MOS (military occupational specialty)..Anything from linguist to something in the intelligence field. Both would look great on a resume 5 years down the road. They are also really the only jobs I've been seeing cash bonus's for. Be that enlistment or reenlistment. Your 18 years old man. Still young. Dont be scared..sign up ha ha ha

Why do you see if you can get a job at a local hospital? You have some medical background at the clinic. This may be a way to get your foot in the door and see what there is to offer in such a lucrative environment. I work in the medical field but there is so much to offer in so many different fields. Check it out and see. Plus many hospitals will pay for your education if you work at least 6 months for them before you go to college and you will also have to stay with them for a period of time after your graduate. Good luck!!

Great time with the iPad Air and Mini release. Get into the craziness from the start.
