Nov 1st - New Lease Programs?

a buddy of mine is about to order a 335i from what I've heard recently I have advised him to wait until the 1st of Nov. as they might be releasing a more competitive lease program for the new cars?

Does anyone have lease program info month to month (for first couple months) on previous model releases such as the e90? I'm wondering if this is a trend and if so what kind of differences the new program will yield. Thanks

Doubtful that November rates will be any better...car is still too new. If I had to guess, I would project a lower MF in the Spring. Here are the numbers from E90 since Jan 2006 for 36mos/12K:

e90 330i
Jan06-May06: Residual 64% MF 0.00195
Jun06 MF 0.00225
July06 MF 0.00195
Aug06 MF 0.00175
Sep06-Oct06 MF 0.00150

e90 335i
Sept06-Oct06 Residual 63% MF 0.00270

e92 335i
Aug06-Oct06 Residual 60% MF 0.0020

reasoning here is the large number of 335's on their way to dealers - what I heard was that this time out of the release for the 330ci they had produced 1800.... compared to the 335 which there are over 7000 produced, since the market is not extremely strong, some dealers are thinking they will have a tough time moving all of those in that quantity and a stronger program is due ahead? thanks for the numbers though (i'll have your status updates in a bit)

Good point, It also may depend on competition with new G35 on horizon, new e92 convertible, and new C Class. Could be interesting to see what happens in coming months.
