Question [Procede related] Engine malfunction - Reduced Power

I am trying to sort out if Engine malfunction - Reduced Power problems are something that I need to bring to the dealer or something that I can get resolutions from Vishnu Tuning.

Since that Engine malfunction - Reduced Power is very elusive on my
car and happens very intermittently,
What are common Procede related
errors, codes [and resolutions] which trigger that Engine malfunction -
Reduced Power messages?

Thank You

OP- as suggested over email, you will need to read the code. If you have a rev 2, that should be easy to do. There are no "common" faults induced by the PROcede. Just common issues that become more appearant when you add 80hp (leaky pipes/lines, bad plugs, faulty coils, etc). The code will tell us were the problem is. Just decide if you want to troubleshoot the problem with us offline or with the forum.

Regards,
shiv

Wow, slow down...dude....
I am not trying to put down procede or JB.

I am just trying to get info from people who may experience the same situation as me.
I was just driving at normal speed when I got that Engine Malfunction - Reduced Power error. Everything was normal. I tried to read the code from that datalogging features, it didn't register any code.
I followed this instructions:
http://www.vishnutuningforum.com/for...read.php?t=412

I will try again if I get that error message.

Did u check your coolant? It happend to me at least 4 times due to coolant leak. For some reason coolant sputtered all over, check the level and was pretty much empty. I added BMW coolant mixed with water and everything was fine for awhile then engine malfunction happened again when outside temp reached 109 degrees. Not sure it has anything to do with weather but it happens when it's hot.

No coolant leak. Coolant level is normal.
I ran the scan, I got DME error code 12543 Exhaust fume turbocharger low side
(based on the Excel spreadsheet code list).
I ran Map 2 (see attached).

Unlike the OP, we're not "clairvoyant", so diagnosing codes w/o info is a little difficult...

That code suggests a boost leak, so what mods do you have? Do you mean you're running Stage 2 rather than Map 2? That suggests mods, so be a little more clear so people can try to help you out.

Question

I apologize for the terminology confusion. Yes, I loaded "Stage 2 6MT Map1=Map2."
My mods are:
-Ultimate Racing High-Flow Catted Downpipes
http://************/km7xx8
-Ultimate Racing Cold Air Intake
http://www.ultimate-racing.com/Produ...5i_S_CAI.shtml

This morning:
I cleared the code, took off my Procede, and brought the car to the dealer.
No boost leak detected.
