If you looked at Sockets upgrades, you see that he is not doing anything half fast, therefore not seeing him complete 1/2 of the job for any upgrade he does!

I swappes out the negative battery cable hoping the IBS is missing code would go away....it didn’t. Check power supply on the distribution box showed good. Also going over logs I recorded. Today is research and diagnose codes day since my gf banned me from the tv so she could watch a show.

Sun came out so did a quick wash and dry.
Using Meguiars New Hybrid Wax and man! That stuff is pretty cool. High water beading and easy reapplication of the product. Highly recommend |

Got the 335 stuck for the first time up at my buddies cottage. This makes me think, wouldn't it fun to jack it up and have big tires on there.

Brake pad wear indicator
Sorry guys, didn’t want to start a new post and didn’t want to comment on an old post.
My dash (non idrive) says my front pads need replacing in 1400 miles. Rear’s says 19000 miles. But when looking at the pads from the outside through the spokes the fronts barely look worn, still got a large shamfer on the front edge, I’d say around 3/4 pad material left. Rear’s however are over half worn. Do you reckon with the fronts, someone has just not replaced the wear sensors previously? Or are they just rubbish😂 Just hoping the inside pads are more or less wearing evenly, so they’re the same as the outsides |

It uses the exact same components? If so that would be pretty sweet, I was thinking down the line in a couple years to possibly do this if I still own the car. If it had more ground clearance and bigger tires it would handle deep snow pretty well.

Seems that way... when I was searching for control arms and such, they were compatible across X1 and E9x Xdrive.
X1 uses a taller tire, so it gets half an inch of clearance from that, but E84 X1 is listed as 7 inches total clearance, and i'm pretty sure ours are not 6.5. The rest is probably in the struts/springs |

Got my reverse camera installed and working. Not bad picture quality for a $30 camera! The trunk release fitment was really good and fits in snug with no give when pushing on it from the inside. The "wave" in the camera housing edge is just the rubber surround which isn't on the OEM release. [IMG][/IMG]

I've had my eye out for a higher mileage e46 325xi 5 speed to lift and make a nice little rig to go camping with my buddies in the desert... put a basket on top with some led light bars and some decent 17" bfg all terrains |

I'll take nice pics when the rain stops out here and I can have more than a day of sunshine between showers....
Got 30% Huper Optik Ceramic tint all around, looks classy without attracting attention |

Today I looked at my E91, wished that the rear anti-roll bar link hadn't broken off on the right side (replacement links ordered yesterday), then I drove my TT w/summer tires in the snow & ice and almost slid into traffic.

I know because I put v70 arms on our xc70 and it was pigeon toed. apparently xc70 arms are an inch longer to keep the track width the same wit hthe taller struts. tie rods are longer to accomodate. so it may be possible to lift a sedan using x1 parts. but why not just buy an x1? |

they look tons better with tinted glass, and you'll enjoy that your AC actually works. Mine struggled to keep up with the greenhouse when it was 100* out. 1st world problems I know. |
