It will not affect Dinan flash, you need to do it! And will love it! So much smoother in D, and more aggressive than ever in Sport or M mode. I am a fan of the ZF auto 6sp tranny, and with this flash keep in mind the Alpina B3 Gt3 (N54 engine, ZF 6sp auto, upgraded suspension bits, LSD, 408hp / 540Nm of torque, etc.) lapped the Ring in 7:49 seconds! Not to mention if you up your power there is a notorious problem when shifting into 6th and this flash solves that issue, so flash is a definite win modification.

Thanks for the detailed response. I will go ahead and give it a go. I just learned how to code and did my first coding a couple days ago. I will read a bit on the steps to do it since I am still a beginner. Most likely I will run into the paddle shifter problem and so I am a bit "scared" to do it and not no how to fix it.

It's super easy. I can help you flash it if you like. Takes 5 minutes

Getting the flash on looks easy. Only thing that confuses me is correcting the paddle shifting problem if it occurs.

If you werent so far I would meet with you to get it done. Thanks though man !

Actually fixing the paddles back is simpler than flashing the TCU.

Your right. What was confusing for me was setting up everything with SP daten 49.3 since I currently have 50.2. Then I would have to switch back to 50.2 once the flash is complete.

But...after reading through the pages, I found that I can use the 50.2 datens.

Just did the flash and it worked perfect. Car shifts very nice !!

But, paddles are gone. I loaded up NCSExpert. I only have
-Default Profile
-EXPERT MAN
-Revtor's NCS Expert
-Expertenmodus

I don't see Expert mode. I tried using Expertenmodus. Once I click 3-(F1) Vin/ZCS/FA, I don't have an option to choose 4-(F3) SG ausw. ? Any idea what profile to use ?I am using NCS-Expertentool V4.0.1

Anyone ?

I am also getting a code under the EGS after flash. Error Code 511B. Is this because of the flash ?

Thanks for the help. Now that I had time to fix it, I am getting an error in NCS expert saying Vin is faulty.

I don't get it. I used INPA the other day and used NCS expert to do coding not so long ago with no problems.

empty your .man file on your work folder and save it... now try to read your car again....

but the first thing you should try is try to see if theres a comunication with inpa... put the ignition on on car and if the 2 dots are black then you r good..

Yes. INPA is working fine. I was just pulling a code I had. I was also reading analog values from block six with no problems.

I went to NCS expert to fix the paddles after and I am getting the error. I don't get it. INPA is working and NCS was working a week ago. I am going to empty the MAN file and see what happens.

Coding

I am interested in having someone help me do this remotely. Is there a link to someone selling a reliable cable and where I can download the software needed? I would like to have someone help do some of the coding tricks I have seen elsewhere on the site if anyone is interested. Feel free to PM me.
