So it's just like the AM310. What bothers me about that concept is that those taillights end so abruptly at the trunk lid...it's like they're for sure going to connect them a la One-77 when it's time for an update. Everything else looks fine save for the unusual treatment of the front fender, and the character line is beginning to look forced.

Is it just me, or does this look like every other Aston Martin?! It's the same look! I feel like I'm taking crazy pills!

I also see GTR in the rear quarter panel. Looks good, but not sure I like it more than the older DBS. Do like it more than the current Vanquish though.

Can you guess which is which? (You probably can, the point is just that the new AM is reminiscent of the GTR's lines.)

I really don't like the taillights hat are not connected to the boot lid nor the integrated rear wing.

Though I'm a big AM and Maserati GT fan, I prefer the F12Berlinetta.

But once there is talk about the F12, I think about the LFA though slower and twice the price.

After the BMW M, Subaru STI and Lexus F, now Aston Martin gets a CF roof.

In general, the new Vanquish has alot of CF: front lip, side skirts, rear diffuser, roof, mirrors, side vents, door handles, interior trim, and doors, hood and trunk painted.

I think maybe the DB9 will have this same "cool" factor in 10 years but I can't imagine what they can develop to keep that style and character and remain profitable with the competition that they face (why, imo, we see crap such as the dressed-up toyota mini and the SUV concept). Don't really see it with the new cars.

And I can't imagine they're successfully competing on a performance level with the 991, GTR, 458, etc. That badge is getting more and more expensive.
The Aston one-77 is iconic but for the more normal cars that they have for sale, my fav will still be the vantage v12

Wow, everything works in these photos. I take back the majority of criticism I had for the car; this carefully treads the line between forced, trendy, and tasteful.

Personally, the switch to full LEDs for the taillights is a massive leap forward for Aston. They've stuck with those dated housings for way too long. Stick these on any old AM and it'll look up to date with that change alone.

I love the attention to detail and now after seeing official pics I can see the differences between this and other models. It looks a lot sharper but still has that elegance about it that all AMs have. Just when I was thinking AM need to create a new design language they have proved all that was needed was minor tweaks and it still looks so fresh.
