Why no warranty for oil housing gasket?
Just wondering why BMW was not forced to put out a service bulletin for this? It is so common as the wastegate and hpfp is yet there is no warranty on it and drivers have to repair out of pocket for an issue that is clearly BMW's fault...

Are you saying they won't cover it during the warranty period? After the warranty period why would they cover it? Everything breaks; nothing is lifetime.

If no codes are being thrown use Chevron Techron fuel injector cleaner (concentrate). It solves rpm fluctuating upon cold start-up. Also, for most BMW problems start off by scanning your car with the Peake Research Tool. It contains the actual BMW codes. If you want to register a newly installed battery for free (just buy a $10 cable) and google/download BMWLogger
