SO is it cheaper to turn your 'E90 into an M3 (nice LCI retrofit as well)than to just buy an M3? From the insurance($) POV, I guess this isn't a bad option.
Looks good, I can barely even tell the difference, of course I can't hear the motor. Does the exhaust mimick the actual sound as well? Seriously, it does look sick. I don't know whether to love it or hate it and claim "poseur" |

Congrats! It seems to be in great condition, enjoy it (and beware the mod bug)!

+1 im quite happy even with my power loss. I had a 335 loner for a few days last month and was not that impressed but it was missing a third pedal and had a few long cranks. I was glad to give it back.

Don't you just love the stock sport package wheels? IMO, they are the best design BMW has put out.

+ 1,000,000!!
This is probably the first wheel that I would never want to change. I used to feel that way about the CSL, but I like that the 162's are much more rare. Everyone in the world has CSL's now (I am guilty as well, used to have them on the E46).

At times I'm sorry I sold my 162's, but I do love my BBS 19's. As popular as the 162's are I'm surprised the 19" replicas that were made weren't more popular.

I love the 162's as well..
I've decided to keep the 162s's for long drives, and other activities that might damage my 19's.

Personally I like it better, not a big fan of the aluminum, although if they had the carbon fiber or leather carbon fiber option like on the M3 I would have gone for that.

My 06 330i 6MT
Hello, newb here ... well, to this forum that is, but not to BMWs. Having come from an 06 550i and an 08 M5, I was a bit hesitant to downsize, but with the economy being the way it is, I gave up the 5ers for something smaller and more fuel friendly. After a month, I've come to adore my CPO 330i. It's a mini-version of my old 550 which was also gray with auburn (terra for the 330i) interior. I originally wanted a 335i but after reading so many HPFP failure stories on this forum and from 535i owners on 5series.net (the former E60.net), I felt it was best to stick to a 330i. Overall, I'm very impressed with the power delivery (smooth and very torquey at low revs) and handling (much more tossable vs. the M5). No complaints with its 31-32 mpg hwy average! Beats my old M5 by miles (literally) with the V10's 17-18 hwy mpg.
All I added so far on the 330i are a new M-tech perforated steering wheel and an LCI shifter off a 335i. I'm thinking of getting a Dinan (or BMW Performance) exhaust in the future, but for now, the car will stay OEM. As much as I'd like to change rims, I'm blown away with how gorgeous the 18" OEM sport package rims are! But I'm irked that I have to experience the jarring ride of runflats again.

^^ Welcome. If you are brave enough to drive without a spare, you can always wear non-RFTs.
With about 24K miles on them, my OEM RFT Potenza 050As are nearing their end of life. I figure I'll get new tires for next summer, and I'll debate RFT or non-RFT. I'll probably stick with RFT but may try the PS2 RFTs this time around. I've said it before, but my 330i has aged well. It has been a fun and dependable DD. Every now and then, I toy with the idea of replacing it for something new, but I enjoy what I have too much to part with it.
