To see if it's possible to run a 275/40/17 square setup without a sh!t load of negative camber.

I never suggested driving to work like that lol

Happy to help. I would pose the question why run an even wider wheel when the 10" wheel is more then sufficient for supporting the 275 rubber? The 10" ET25 wheel is already very aggressive for the rear of a non-M, typically requiring fender rolling and negative camber, so running the 10.5" ET27 wheel would make life more difficult (it sticks out another 4mm towards the fenders in comparison). With enough fender modification and negative camber, sure you could potentially get it to fit, but at the end of the day you are running a heavier wheel with little to no upside. Also, we have been unable to get enough demand within the community to produce the 17x10.5" wheels, so availability is also not on your side.

The 17x9.5" ET35 is the best option for a direct bolt on approach, and the 17x10" ET25 is a great option for those looking for an aggressive fitment (willing to do a little fender work), maximizing sidewall support for the 275 tires.

The only reason is bc I found a good deal on a used set with those specs. If I were to go new I'd never consider that wide of a rim

I run 255/40/ZR17 Nitto Nt01s on my Arc-8 17x9 ET30s on the front of my E92 with no issues at the track. Is there less room on the E90? I was under the impression there was as much.
what suspension are you running on ur e92 and is it 328i?
