help 2010 335d 101,000 miles
I maybe in over my head
2010 335d 101,000 miles car is in limp mode now after changing #3 fuel injector and coding it with the PROTOOL app i have a few code`s probably some thing i did but cant find I pulled all the connectors and looked then over for damage and to insure they are plugged in correctly. the codes are: 4b82 exhaust-gas recalculation -rate control, devastation 4862 air system, air to egr mass flow plausibility 4865 air system, air to egr mass flow plausibility 3ff0 Air mass measurement 4530 charging pressure control, high-pressure stage, control deviation: charging pressure too low/ positive control deviation 483d throttle actuator Thanks for any help you can offer |

You most likely have CBU and a clogged fuel filter.
The anti-shudder-valve (throttle body) may be bad as well but it is only used to shut down the engine smoothly so no big deal there. |

So I pulled the intake off again this morning and found the #6 square gasket slipped out of place. I am hoping that will take care of it. New gaskets will be here tomorrow. All these codes were new yesterday I only had an injector code before.

I think that fits with the codes you're seeing. Egr and maf codes always go together like that; basically means that the DDE is seeing a different qty of air going into the engine from what it expects, so it flags the egr and maf (the only intake air sources).
Charging pressure would be affected by this too, since the air flow is very different. I assume that 483d is referring to the swirl flap control rather than the ASV, but I could be wrong. I guess that as it is now, the swirl flaps would have been sticking on the slipped gasket? If the gasket doesn't fix your issue, I'd look to the ASV and make sure it's operating properly. I'm pretty sure ISTA-D has a test routine for it. Don't worry; I think the codes make it look a lot worse than it is! |

Just got back from a test drive. I didn't make it far 😞 I still have codes
4b82 exhaust-gas recalculation -rate control, devastation 4862 air system, air to egr mass flow plausibility 3ff0 Air mass measurement 4530 charging pressure control, high-pressure stage, control deviation: charging pressure too low/ positive control deviation And a new one 3F25 which is charge-air tube monitoring. But I lost 2 4865 air system, air to egr mass flow plausibility 483d throttle actuator I don't know what to do. |
