I am impartial in this debate...... being a Southern nancy boy living in Lancs, but I would rather live in Yorkshire if I had a choice!

Just got theses pictures from my neighbour (I was on holiday when it all happened):

Before -


The stream is about 2 feet deep and 8 feet across.
And after 6 hours-

Its about 12 feet deep at this point and travelling at about 10~20mph.
To the right of this picture is a bridge. They told me the noise of the water forcing its way under the bridge was so loud, that people could hear it a mile away.
