Replace E92 M-Sport Lower Grille

My lower grille has damage and needs replaced. I'm looking for any DIY info on replacing it without removing the bumper. Anyone have experience or direction to info? I have a 2011 E92 LCI with the M-Sport bumper.

Having just installed my m sport bumper I can tell you that you will have to take off the bumper. The brake ducts are in the way. Unless you can somehow remove the wheel liner and remove the brake ducts then you may be able to remove the grill.
Taking the bumper off isn't difficult at all.

yep, taking bumper off is intimidating but not that hard. a few screws in wheel wheel, 4 in the engine bay, a row on the bottom and voila!

I will be doing this soon, just waiting for all the parts needed. By the way my first post as a new member. Hello everyone! hoping to get some ideas and learn things from this great forum. 1st time owner of BMW as well, it's the 2009 3 series 318i 4 door E90. Was looking for some guidance on how to do it, but couldn't find one. There's some guide on YT if that helps OP.
