Now that would be the ultimate in geek.

To go down and watch them unload the boat, that's taking it a little far, haha.

Would be kinda cool though.

Don't think that I didn't consider doing just that. I doubt that with all the security measures currently in place that I wouldn't be able to get close enough too see anything. Now, if my wife would have let me get that boat that I have my eye on, that's a different story. I am a former member of the USCG Aux so I could get special clearance and would have escorted the Don Carlos to her berth.

Maybe if I climb onto my roof, I can see her now. She's passing due south of us!

Now that would have been awesome to take a look at marinetraffic and see this small boat bringing her in with the call sign "STE92VE"

Seems she's anchored in port now, unloading cars as we speak.
Looks like she's on schedule to make Georgia by Monday.

I am not a sailor but for some reason I think in port they don't actually drop anchor. They are just tied up, like all your girlfriends.

On second thought, it would be very cool to see a ship drop anchor right through a docking pier, I am sure it has happened.

Hold on a minute....they moved her during the night. Last year we toured the VDC and I know that the first dock they stopped at was where the BMW VDC is. I hope customs isn't doing any monkey business.

I just checked.
Looks like she's on the move, I noticed two tugs near her. Waited until the next refresh, and now she's on the go!
Should make Brunswick by tomorrow!

She was only at her second stop for 6 hours....either she was topping off her fuel tanks before she heads south or else the crew heard that those Jersey girls are easy and everyone wanted shore leave.
