Coding RAD2 with MOST?

Hi, I was not able to code BMW Professional Radio with regular K+DCAN cable, so I have borrowed this cable from mechanic:

This cable connect to USB port. I have never coded with this. How to setup it? Is it possible to code with it connected to PC directly?

yes you have to change the interface settings K/D can is not the same as ICOM see
above link.

Where is the rest of the cable?

I don't see how you can code anything without a PC no matter what cable you use.
Unless you use one of those canned phone apps which are somewhat limited.

I mean can I code with this adapter connecting directly to PC via USB? Or I must connect this adapter to "the box" and then via Etherned to my PC?

As I dont have this box only MOST adapter which connects to USB.

That device is only needed for flash programming not for coding.

Also it needs to be connected to icom and the icom connects to the pc.

Man don't take this personally but you seem to be way over your head here.

Might be a better idea to stick to the k-dcan cable and just explain what you've done and whats not working

When you buy and Icom you get the whole kit.
https://www.bimmerforums.com/forum/s...-P-actually-do

there is some cable info in the above thread.

It does seem that it is required to have an Icom for Most Bus devices after
a certain date. Mostly I have seen the Head Units as the choke point.
