I have a e90 2011 335i xDrive. Would the xDrive B12 Pro kit for the e90 328 work with the 335? I can not seem to find a b12 pro kit that is specifically made for the 335i xdrive. Thanks!

I'm speaking from my experience.
Don't do it.

B12 kit's eibach springs are made for RWD not AWD.
AWD is heavier at the front so, with RWD eibach springs, your front will keep sagging over time.
You'll be scraping your front bumper and you'll be embracing yourself before every pothole because the shocks would bottom out.

I'd recommend getting a set of Dinan springs instead or a proper coilover setup like KW v3.

2nd this. I got the Dinan springs with B8's and I'm very happy with it.

The car came with Eibach Pro springs, it was obviously hitting the bump stops constantly.

There was a B12 kit made for xdrives, or at least the 325/328/330 xdrives. I have it on my 330xi.

I've heard that Eibach did make Pro springs for the xDrive 335s but only offered them in Europe. Apparently there are ways to find them on EBay and get them shipped to the US but I've personally never been able to find them or get the part number for them to help my search. People who have done this have sourced the shocks & bump stops separately to complete the kit part by part.

Bilstein has somewhat recently made a B14 coilover kit for the xDrive cars that is well priced but expected delivery dates keep being pushed back for people who have ordered it - which unfortunately seems to be par for the course for some of Bilstein's offerings.

Isn't the B14 a coilover kit? I am a bit concerned about coilover longevity. I drive over 20k miles a year and these would need to be replaced probably after 2 years since most coilovers last 30-50k miles.

I actually just found a bilstein suspension that looks like the B8 shocks / struts but a heavy duty set specific for xdrive. PN is E9XXIHDSET. I can't find a lot of information on them.

I wonder how they differ from the KIT-35142478KT B8 kit.

I am concerned with longevity as well and debating which way to go. Was pretty set on Eibach/Koni combo but the b14 kit is priced really well right now (assuming they ever ship).

I was surprised to see mentions of having to rebuild coilovers in 30k miles, but I am betting failure rate goes up the further you push the limits on height. So if they are setting things to the lowest possible setting I am guessing the estimated life drops significantly. In addition to everyday wear and tear, maybe that one pothole would be ok on a coilover set at a moderate drop just destroys the same coilover when dropped lower. Just some thoughts in hopes that I can run a coilover kit at a reasonable drop and expect a longer lifespan.

I do not expect a coilover kit to last very long on new england roads. I may end up going with OEM since those will last until I get rid of the car in a few years.
