So I've had these laying around in my garage for a while. Just got to install them this morning at my buddies shop while I went to get a drink with him lol

Anyways, ProSplitter is operated by a guy who lives down the street from me and is in to automotive scene just like us, and has essentially made a side splitter made up of ABS plastic which is super durable and resistant to be installed on almost any ride.

I installed mine using 3m double sided tape and 10 self tapping screws on each side directly under my side skirt.

Personally I like it, makes my side profile look low and aggressive. Plus on a black e90 M3 sides are a waste of money since they don't help much.

To order all you need to do is email him and tell him the length you need and pay him and it'll be shipped off to you (Let him know Taran sent you)

http://m.facebook.com/profile.php?id...le.com%2F&_rdr" rel="" target="_blank">http://<a href="http://m.facebook.co...om%2F&_rdr</a>

E90 skirt length was 79.25"

Tow hook plate is by Godspeed off eBay for M3.

I didn't want to cut up the pieces around the jack points underneath but as it sits it's flush with my wheels so I'm happy with it.

so its just a sheet of hpde in black with a gaudy plaque on it? i would like to see the edges routered and the corners round in nicely.

your install looks great and they make your ride look aggressive.

As a function over form person, does it have a purpose (other than cosmetic)..?

Think you could do a head on shot down the side of the car to show the skirts flush with the wheels? I have a feeling they aren't sticking out as much as they look like they are in these photos.

Essentially yea, that's what I was thinking too was to take my router by hand now and just make nice curves to go with the e90's front end look.

Currently side skirts are used to keep air on the sides of the car from spilling under the car if you're generating a low pressure area. Lots of people think the skirts are there to keep the under car air from spilling out, but always remember that air flows from high pressure to low pressure. If you are generating down force from under the car then side skirts are needed. If not, then you're just adding weight.

Yeah they'll take me some getting used to as well. Especially on a black car it's hard to see the boxy lines of this
