As a licensed driver within your resident state ......... you should know what's legal and/or illegal.

If they can't get a read on you AND laser jammers ARE illegal in your state then yeah .......... you'll get pulled over for using it.

If they are legal & an officer isn't able to get a speed reading on you then I guess the laser jammer is working.

just need a concealed display/jammers. they can't search your car for that. i'd just claim they have faulty meters. but anyway, with these your not getting pulled over unless they are truly illegal in your state. mine have performed flawlessly in NJ, and have saved me hundreds of times, im sure ive been trapped at 95+ before.

Page 4 - Legal issues
The use of a radar detector in a passenger vehicle is legal in all states with the exception of Virginia, Washington DC. and on military bases.
Radar detectors are illegal in all commercial vehicles weighing over 10,000 pounds
In Canada, the only three provinces that allow their use are Alberta, British Columbia and Saskatchewan.
Many overseas countries also ban their use, such as Portugal, Finland and Spain.
In areas that radar detectors are illegal, law enforcement use a device called the Spectre that is able to detect the use of radar detector in your car or truck. For more information on the Spectre, click here.
Laser Jammers and Radar Jammers are illegal in the states of Nebraska, Minnesota, Utah, California, Oklahoma, Virginia, Colorado, Illinois and Washington DC.
If you decide to use a laser jammer in one of the states that they are outlawed, consider getting the Blinder M-20 or M-40 or the Lidakek LE-30. The Blinder and the Lidatek are the only laser jammers made today that give minimal "error codes" to the police laser guns.

I've known it was illegal in CA from the day I got my V1 [which is also the day I turned 16, which happened to be the day I got my license haha)

too bad they're illegal

and here, cops CA search your car for anything for any reason.
All they have to do is 'think' you're under the influence and they have every right to search the car

There was a very long, detailed review with this other military cover called veil something. You painted your headlights and anything else shiny on the car with it. The blinder used in their tests wouldn't work from a very long ways, but would work and jam very well up to a few hundred feet, then you were out of luck.

So I was researching about this on yahoo and came across this statement from a police officer:

"What they don't claim is they are not effective. A laser emits a light wave that is only 2 1/2 feet wide at 1,000 feet. If the laser is aimed at a headlight or front license plate, it will not be detected by the unit, and the signal will not be jammed.
Source(s):
16 years law enforcement, Laser certified"

On the video they mention this and try aiming to the turning signal, but is it just a coincidence that they picked a car that has no front plate and no headlights?
