Gas fumes after exiting vehicle

Starting to notice, usually after a trip of at least 25 miles, a rather strong smell of gas after exiting the vehicle. Nothing inside while driving, even if windows open. I have no idea how to even start to narrow this one down

Fuel line from pump to rail had a leak. Repaired before flames erupted.

Got pics of the location that you saw a leak? Had a few "smells" once in awhile and wanted to start investigating between hood and fuel regulator. But I'm curious to know where it is that sprung a leak.

I took it to local Indy. I need to stop in and ask a ? so will follow up

For my son's 77 Beetle that had smell in the bonnet I learned to rub a finger along the bottom point of a hose, then sniff my finger. Pretty easy to tell which girlfriend is farting that way
