The point was I didn't want what everybody else has. So custom rims are gonna cost more naturally because they are being built from scratch to my specifics. CCW's aren't the look I'm going for. Like I said in an earlier post, I don't like how the step lips makes the centers look so small. And these rims I'm getting would normally cost around $5500 so in a way I am getting a deal...

Ok soOOOOOO delivery of my wheels are taking a little longer then I was anticipating. The shop told me yesterday that they are in fact "en route for delivery" according to the tracking number. So hopefully any day now I should get them. I just wanted to keep those who were interested informed because I know I posted earlier saying I would have pics installed by this past Tuesday or wednesday.

BUT as of NOW I am having them at least install my KW V3 coilovers. I will be picking my "dropped" car up this evening after work

I will continue with updates as I get them.

CCW's are forged, they do not advertise, and they make the wheels in house, not from a third party.
because of the no advertising, all by mouth philosophy they go by, they are able to keep cost of wheels down.

back on topic, cant wait to see the wheels.
they're gonna be hawt!
how much of a drop are you doing?

UPDATE

My wheels are FINALLY IN!!

I Don't have any pics as of now. But it was a longgggg wait thats for sure...

So, the thing is, my "shop guy'' is away till Monday for his birthday. So I wont be getting them installed till Tuesday evening. He is going to pick them up from his warehouse first thing Monday when he gets back and then after I get out of work on Tuesday (6 p.m.) I will be stopping by his place (which would be around 7 p.m.) for the install. So I'm guessing I'll have some GOOD pictures by NEXT weekend. I'll have some pics after the install of course BUT they will be from my iPhone and it will be dark being it'll be pics from the shop at night.

SoOoOo until THEN!!

P.S. - I will also be painting my lower front grilles Matte Black this Sunday, to match my Matte Black grille I bought and will be having that installed along with my rims the same day.

Love the idea of being able to design the wheels yourself so you can get the perfect offset, size, design, etc. That said and since you asked for our thoughts it's one of my least favorite designs and it's probably the most common. I'm also not a fan of black wheels. I'm not sure exactly why as I have seen a few that I like but in general black wheels give the whole car a very unfinished, cheap look in my opinion. To me, black wheels (especially flat black) look temporary to me - like you had an accident or something and you're using them while you're waiting for your new, real wheels to come in.

All that said, you're obviously doing what matches YOUR taste and that's all that counts. From that perspective, I applaud you for just moving forward and making the decision rather than asking people to help you to decide. Looking forward to seeing the final product.
