Lets not forget that Walked U has DPs and IC which help quite a bit...especially the DP's.

Nice Runs!

Did he have on the DPs when he ran Terry?

Aren't these the same catted downpipes that Mr. 5 has dyno tested and showed produced LESS power than stock with PROcede 1.47?

Hey guys, looks like you had some fun. Sherwin's car is definitely quick! Probably the quickest procede car on the west coast short of Vishnu's car.

Let's throw a boost gauge on Jon's car to verify he's getting the full 13/14psi (just to make sure the switch is working properly), and then line him up against say Adam's 2.02 car. I think we'd get a better comparison that way.

Or the idea of swapping tunes and rematching sounds interesting too. Any changes Sherwin since we raced? Same default settings, air intake, etc?

+1. Good job guys Comparing customer cars is the only way to go. Shop/development cars have lived very different lives.

BTW, Sherwin's car made completely normal power numbers when it was on our dyno a while back (back when it had catless downpipes). It is not unusually strong or a factory freak.

So why does it pull 2 cars on other procede 2.02 cars?

I think you just misread his results. His first 333rwhp procede run was an anomaly, so if you take the average of the next two runs (~320rw), he gained 5-8rwhp with the downpipes, not to mention spool time.

Hey guys good to see you met up again.

I have to say, since I was in Sherwin's car last week with all the runs, Sherwin would pull 3-4 CL's on Jon when Jon was on v1.47 and on only 93 Octane (that was with equal weight in the cars).
It appears in this video with Jon on JB2R that you are still pulling 3-4 CL's
So too be honest, it doesn't seem like the JB2R on 98 Octane did much better than the v1.47 did on 93 Octane against Sherwin. That's interesting.

Now I know you both had driver and one passenger.
Who were the passengers (your gf's again?)

Jon weighs probably 90-100 lbs heavier than Sherwin.
With passengers Jon could of been carrying as much as 150+ lbs more in his car.

That would be good for 1 CL but still.
Even if you give him 1.5 CL's for that weight, Sherwin would of still beat him by 2-2.5 CL's everytime.

Nice work guys.

If I ever get my v2 Hotrod182 and I will be testing v2 vs JB2R (him on 96 Octane me on 93 Octane, but still on the 91 Octane v2 default settings).

Our cars are both autos, both have CSL reps and General tires. We both weigh very close in weight.
I have a coupe, he has a sedan, so I'm going to show up with a couple gallons more gas than him so weight is dead even.
Ya the weight was pretty even.

I put the heavier person in my car and gave jon marissa. Thats why the filming was done from his car.

My passenger is like 140 lbs. vs marissa is like 100 lbs if that. Lol

Also john was on 98 octane with 1.47 and JB2R, nothing was changed. We replicated the whole thing. Only thing that was changed was the tune for jon.

Huh? Then Mr. 5 must have misread his own results, because he specifically stated that he's producing less power with the catted downpipes.

The 333rwhp run (run10) was his best run with STOCK cats.

The other 3 runs (326rwhp run14, 324rwhp run15, 320rwhp run16) are his runs with the same downpipes that is on Walked U's car.

The 320rw average that you speak of is 13hp less than what he produced with stock cats.

Interesting, while cars will vary of course, this is a more "objective" comparo as Terry's car was ALOT faster than Jon's OTS JBR2. Good stuff Sher as always Brotha.

Will it ever end. V2 car beats JB2r car and we hear the V2 car is super natural.

JB2r car wins against a V2 car then we hear JB2r car is a freak of nature.

Once in for all Shiv VS Terry. Any mod you want on your car.
First race- best 2 out of 3 drag race.
Second race- 30-130mph second gear pull. 2 out of 3 race.
Third race- road course. Individual times on the course. To see who has the faster car and is a better driver.

Who wins 2 out of three of these events is the winner.

Just a thought

I'm guessing the other supporting mods. Light wheels, downpipes, IC....they all add up.

Good job guys

I think what we REALLY need to see is a few different examples from different geographic locations of 2 completely stock cars other than their tunes go at it (V2 vs JB2R) and then we will really know who is faster.....period.

Bottom line, every one of us is benefiting from all the tuners improving their products, no one is losing.

Ya it was alot faster. It got progressively faster as the more runs we did.

That wasnt the case with mine and jon's runs last nigh. It was the same result back to back.

I think he might have misread the first runs also, here was the post:

http://www.e90post.com/forums/showpo...06&postcount=8

So 333, 323, and 317 are with stock downpipes. I think the 333 run was a boost spike or something, he never replicated it. So say the average before downpipes was ~320, and the average after ~324. That is just peak, someone would need to check for total power under the curve.

I think a lot of the east coast guys will be at the track Friday, so we should get a good look at all the tunes at the same track, same day!
