Help Converting E46 Wheels to E90

Like an idiot, I purchaser a set of four 17" wheels made for an E46 without knowing that they would not fit properly on my E90 (09 328xi). The wheels I purchased are Radial Spoke 50's (BMW Part # 36 11 1 095 339) 8 x 17.

I do not want to spend too much money trying to convert these (the car is leased, with 16" tires that look too small - took over a lease from someone else).

Any suggestions on what to do? I heard that spacers can be purchased - how do I know what size is needed? I trust I will need 4?

Thank you in advance for any suggestions for an obvious novice.

Those are ET47, while OEM e90 17x8 wheels are ET34. That's a 13mm difference in offset. So I'd go with 15mm spacers, making them ET32.

thank you for the advice. 3 more questions:

1. what is "ET"
2. is the ET differential between the e46 wheels i have and my e90 vehicle the same in the front and the rear?
3. do i need the spacers on all 4 wheels?

thanks again. i really appreciate your help.

1. ET is the same as offset, and the number is in mm.
2. Yes
3. Yes, even though the rears might fit on the rear without spacers, it will look wrong, too tucked in.
