I misunderstood that part. My local wheel shop is 'Exact Roues' and not a chain.

I have used them with success, but I believe that they are all independent franchises so ymmv

Thanks for making me feel better about adding some more road rash to a formerly clean rim today. I guess things could be worse -- bent rims.

What prices are you getting? For $135, Wheels America (at least in Chicago) will fix - bends, rash, chunks missing & custom paint or pc your wheels. It would be interesting to find out what others are paying to see if there are any good deals out there. Focused more on US wide versus local places though...

I've not yet had the need to use a wheel repair shop, but I have two Bimmer friends that have used Ye' Old Wheel Shop outside of Baltimore many times, and they got great results.

I used them to fix some curb rash and they did a good job. But as has been mentioned, the people who fix the wheels just bought a Alloy Wheel Repair Specialists franchise, so it might vary from franchise to franchise

I'm in Chicago and used them but got special pricing at a WSTO meet. In Chicago, contact WSTO and they will hook you up with Northern IL Wheel Repair (the Norther IL franchise)...Damned good work and they are mobile. If your wheel isn't too bad, they can do it for you on your site.

It was less than $135 for sure.
