The paint is soooo thin on those cars - I can't imagine working on it and one little mistake costs a fortune to fix!

Thanks to everybody for the compliments on the work that Craig and I did with this beauty. A week or two after we performed this, we drove it, a 288 GTO (even more valuable), and a brand new 458 Italia (I got to drive this one) to the Ohio Ferrari Chapter meet. On the way home, we were driving the caravan in the rain. Oh well, time to clean 'em up again.

Very nice. Simple beautiful!!!! I had Richie Carbone do a full paint correction/detail on my 997S. 05 Black car and he spent about 45 hours on it which included the clear bra removal for a new one.

Usually paint correction is a hourly rate per detailer, at least where I live. You could spend $30-70/hour. My car was $1350 and it looks like it got a new $12K paint job. Not a mark, swirl, ect in the DEEP BLACK paint. Well worth it!
What these master detailers can do to a car is pure art!!! From what I've heard, there are maybe 20 (officially trained) guys in the US that can do this kind of work you see on this F40 and my car. My guy is one of two in Florida and he is in Cali at the Concourse Italiano detailing. Link to my correction so you guys have another example of the work these guys can perform: http://www.detailingbliss.com/forum/...correction.htm |
