Switch Differential Sizes on 335i 6AT

Hey guys,

I currently have a 2008 335i 6 speed auto with a small bolted differential. I have the opportunity to get a basically brand new master rebuilt MFactory LSD (whole Pumpkin) but it's the large housing.

I've read a couple posts about people changing them out without issue (thanks to the play of the slip joint) but there isn't a huge amount of info. Has anyone else tried this? I'd love to hear some experiences or thoughts on it.

Cheers

MFactory
