06 bmw 530xi swap

Hi I have a 2006 bmw 530xi with a n52 engine silver valve cover I wanted to know if the e91 motor from a 2011 with the black valve cover a direct swap

Yes and no. You need to keep your pcv system, valve cover, intake manifold, wire harness and MAF. The block, head and most of the sensors are the same.
