This should be fun. I have been so busy with my move here to TX and work, my car has felt totally ignored. I shall take her out to meet her friends and get some good mod ideas. So far it is completely stock!

I move to have it in Austin, TX, sometime in May. Someone pointed out that school gets out, so more people may have time, and I think too late into the summer will be too hot (yeah, I know, Austin...)

I'm down with a meet in Austin! What about meeting at the Oasis? They have a newly built, good size parking lot (no more dirt), plus it's closer to the hill country. I'm sure the owner would help us out with a section of the parking lot or something in exchange for our business. Thoughts?

I also wanted to suggest Hula Hut on Lake Austin Blvd. There's an office building across the street with plenty of parking that actually allows restaraunt customers to park there....no risk of tow or anything. Hula Hut also is good about acommodating (sp?) large parties.

For date, I am open anytime in May....it should be on a Saturday or Sunday, lunch or early afternoon.

hockeynut is the man when it comes to organization of these things.....his mailing list could be a big help to make this a nice turn-out. I am willing to help coordinate any way possible.

hockeynut!!! chime in here if possible... we are thinking of either meeting at Oasis or Hula Hut, around early to mid May during the weekend. Here are the dates:

maybe you can set up a poll here or something!!! for a meet at one of those two places at one of the above weekend dates....

I can go double check the parking lot of Oasis to make sure it is bimmer friendly, IE: no holes, dirt... I'll report back findings. Still open to other suggestions. How many cars do we think might attend? Also, any date is cool with me. I'm also down for a "mini" meet before then. Car will be here in a few weeks!

Bad news, just found out that Oasis's "new" parking lot is still dirt! The only paved parking they have is right up front. It would have to be reserved for us and could only hold about 20 or so cars.

I'm down for the 17th. Any other locations that could accommodate us and would be easy for the out of towners to find? What about Zilker Park?

ok so heres google earths of both zilker park and hula hut. either one looks fine with more than enough parking for every body. i guess the main thing is do we want to eat? do we all meet up and then have a huge caravan of cars to go eat? is eating even on any ones mind? maybe im just obsesed with food lol. some one that is a member of e46fanatics.com should post over there and let them know about it too. im posting up at bimmerfest.com right now.

hey guys.. once again.. so sorry for not being on for a while.. so busy with school. not to rain on the parade, but i think may 17th is my graduation date, so i wouldnt be able to make it!! the wkd before is finals, so the best for me would be may 3-4. although if we did have a poll, we could form a date based on whats best for the most people.

problem with the 3rd-4th is that it is the same day as the austin bimmerfest meet that they have monthly. i guess they could be combined?? we could go to the last weekend in may too. weather only is going to get better as time moves on. i just messaged steve about it so we will see what he has to say when he gets it.
