2006 330i motor into a 328i/128i
Has anyone ever heard of this being done? Is it possible? Motor is toast on my 128 and I found a used 2006 330i motor. Both are n52, I'm not sure if harness are different etc

so I believe you should be good provided the engine is good.. heck if your old car was stock then you'll even get a power boost!

Mechanicals are the same except the 3IM upgrade. Most of the wiring is the same but there are some differences. The throttle body being one of them. Your car has the MSV80 while the donor ran the MSV70. Keep you harness and sensors and install them on the donor car. It will be fine. You can pick up a tune and make full use of the 3IM from a number of places. |
