DSC light on for 1 minute
Please assist. I'm stuck.
I start the engine on my 2010 E90 316d ES. (118,000 miles). I reverse out of my drive and the orange triangle surrounded by a circle with an arrow, and exclamation mark appears. The sounder bongs once. I believe this is DSC warning. I drive off and the light goes out after about 1 minute. Everything stays fine until I complete my journey and then I get another bong and light appearance when I take the key out. No other lights appear, ie ABS or suchlike. I've stripped, cleaned and rebuilt the steering angle sensor disc assembly. All was OK. I haven't looked at the driveshaft reluctor rings or sensors yet. I haven't got a code reader. What should I do next, please? |

£200 for the Foxwell.
I can't justify the expense as I'd probably almost never use it. Thanks for your help. I'll have a look at the wheel sensors, but can't see why the light isn't on all the time if there's a fault. Maybe it just lights for a minute, then is designed to go off, once you're aware. I just don't know. |
