yea i guess thats basically been the story of this fire. winds have been making a lot of things difficult. They are now sitting in a smiths parking lot with their two dogs and one cat..... this is just bizarre..

Pretty far. I'm in lehi. East side of Utah county and herriman is west side of salt lake county. I can't see those mountains from my house. I was actually driving home from my parents when I saw it.

Howdy all. We made it back. Car needs a serious washing today. I killed whole families of bugs. The M was great on the trip, 22 MPG and about 85-90 the whole way. Rides nice, holds all our stuff, I can't complain at all.

I saw this exact thing out my closet window last night and freaked out. Then I remembered that it's ~4 miles away, on the other side of the valley and freeway and calmed down a bit. Still a scary sight!
