For the guys in sac who are out of warranty where do you guys take your car for servicing or repairs? I've heard good things about Schatz & Krum, any other shops out there with a good reputation?

im still under warranty but my other friends who has bmw, they usually bring their car to valley motorwerks, lubos bavarian motors and IPB. IPB is good but i think they are a little bit pricey.

or if you willing to drive down to vallejo area, Garageworks is highly recommended.

I'm converting my garage into a BMW mechanics garage. Alpine while and blue walls. Installing Rustoleum flooring tomorrow, any pointers before it goes on? Seems pretty straight forward and all the prep work is done.

hey Wil, nope, just make sure you use the supplied acid cleaner to wash the floor clean and give it some time so soak up and grease and such. other than that, very straight forward and you should start from one corner of the garage first. besides the cleaning/prep work, the rolling process of my 2-car garage only took me 2 hours total.

and then don't park the cars in for 3 days. it's been 2.5 years in my garage already and so far so good, never seen a chip or flake yet.

I recently gave my brother my b6 a4 and figured I never had a BMW before so I did some research and test drove the e92 335i. I loved the power but too much maintenance with it. That's why I went the 328i since this will be my dd

That sucks but just imagine... it'll be like driving a new car again.

I just got back from a 10 day Arizona trip. Before that, the car was in the shop for new turbos and then a LSD install.

I'm now back and am installing Procede, Intake, and ETS FMIC. After driving a Nissan Versa, this damn thing will feel like a Bugatti!

After having my car for a month and then not having it for a month, it's good to have it back. I love her. I forgot what it was like to drive!
