They are the old pistons lol in the photo. Just got the block back from being bored out. Rebuild starts Monday and car should be done by friday at the latest. But then have to run the engine in for 1000km before tuning and the install of the PI kit.

cheers mate. It has been a long process but hey least it will be solid in the bottom end now. Ditching meth as a fuel setup and going PI and then moving the meth line pre-intercooler and running 100% meth instead. Little bit excited once that all goes in lol. But I am off to Europe in 19 days so I will have to let it sit till I get back.

So got my car back finally. Loving it. Now I have to run in the engine before doing any tune work. I will keep you posted once I get back from Europe and start tuning and getting some dyno runs done.

haha yeah that would be nice but i think you would be disappointed as i cant even go over 3500rpm until 1500km are on the clock... It has been so hard so far to contain myself.. Least I have it back now with the bottom end being solid. Cant wait to get back and start hitting some high HP goals I have set.

Cheers mate. Feels real responsive now that the block has been bored out a touch more. Wont know exactly until after the run in but looking forward to seeing what it can do. Purrs like a kitten. Forgot how bloody loud the exhaust is though. You can hear it a mile away. If anyone goes remus make sure you dont go the race exhaust just get the street version. lol

JB4 g5, MHD JB4 E85 Trebila Hybrid Custom Backend flash map 3 and getting him to do another custom tune for map 6. I worked with Trebila when i had RB's installed and got every bit of power out of them and was awesome to deal with.

So a quick update as it has been forever since i wrote anything. I just order Stage 3 fuel pump and upgrade fuel lines for the fuel-it port injection. Getting installed in 2 weeks. Pretty excited to add that mod finally. Got the car back and still a slow process of running the engine in. Still have 1100km to go before I can really start the fun stuff of getting it tuned in. I will keep everyone posted once I have some numbers on the dyno.

So the head had to come off due to a stuff up so I decided to precondition the head so all new valves, valve guides, ported and polished. So I can pretty much say now my engine is brand new, lol.. Stage 3 fuel pump and upgraded lines with ex FPR arrived so going to get the port injection installed at the same time. What a long process but hey its going to be worth it in the long run.
