328i/335i Xdrive components - differences?

Hi everyone - I did a quick search and didn't find anything.

Are the components used between the xdrive 328 and 335 different? I know the actual gearboxes aren't the same - but what about the transfer cases? I've found used ones for sale advertised for both models.....

Full disclosure:
I was going to avoid an xdrive 328i for relability/ ease of maintenance concerns....but if the same hardware is used on both that changes my mind.

(not to say its unreliable - just less moving parts on the standard car!)

These diagrams should help you. RealOEM is invaluable when comparing chassis or model parts.
