Retrofitting CCC to CIC

need some help looking at retro fitting CIC into my 2009 e90 335i.
Just seeing if anyone has a list of things I will need? Would be a big help!
Also a step by step if anyone has one or can point me in the right direction?
Thank

Try a search buddy as there’s definitely a couple of people that have posted up pics of their retrofits. Mines been done but was by the previous owner.

Have you thought about getting the NBT retrofit instead?

Mine too was done by a previous owner so I can't help much other than to say if you can do it......do it! It's so much better than my mates 5 series ccc in every way. Thats when his actually works which isn't too often these days

It's the system from newer models.

Alot of people are also now using android devices. They replace your screen and are basically an an android system with full features. They are only £400 although like Dynavin they will be hit an miss. Lots of happy customers though on Facebook groups.

As Imy mentioned it’s the newer iDrive system so one after CIC. Better screen and software etc. Pricier too but more functional.

Interested to see who has fitted one of these. Certainly looks a nice upgrade over both CCC and CIC

Ccc to cic is just plug n play. Simple. Couple of screw out, pull out ccc, unplug then plug new cic in. Job done. If u are changing the centre console controller as well, then u will need the newer style centre console as the controller is a different shape. But all plug n play really.

I thought to change to CIC you need to change the plug on the back?

This looks really interesting as I have the ccc system. I'll wait for a few more reviews before I buy. There are a few videos on YouTube and the product is available on Aliexpress for about £350.

Do you think it's something you could install?

I am currently in the process of fitting the:
https://avinusa.com/8-8-bmw-3-series...on-system.html

That YouTube video shows the person cutting the back on the system, in the updated system this is not required (thank god).

So far its great

Not sure I like the fact it displays the old CCC then you press a button for the new menu.
