CIC to play Spotify
Hi guys,
Firstly I am sorry for bothering you all, I guess you’re all busy people. I have just purchased a late 2008 ‘58 plate (November registered I think) E93 BMW M Sport with professional navigation installed. I am wanting to stream songs via Spotify so they show on the display and so I can skip using the steering wheel controls etc. Is this possible to retrofit to my vehicle? If so what parts would I require? If no parts are required can it be done remotely? Again I’m sorry to bother you all but I have searched the forums and I really don’t get all the technical stuff hence this thread. I’m based in Chesterfield near Sheffield if this helps (but I’m happy to travel if required) Thanks in anticipation, Aaron |

you need to perform combox retrofit
you can dig this forum it is have many topics about this to understand what parts you will need you need to get your options list using your VIN on the sites https://www.bmwvin.com/ or http://bimmer.work

well. since you already have usb audio interface option and if you have iphone you may simply try aftermarket adapter tune2air wma3000
if you have android phone, you'll need to install combox instead of the two modules (MULF2HIGH and TCU ) since you have usb audio options and business telephone option you'll also need to recode headunit and some other modules to work with combox

Hi,
I was wanting to stream music so song titles etc were shown on the nav display. Would the tune2air adapter allow me to do this? If not and I need to fit a combox and have a recode is this all that is required? I have seen your other posts and note you may have a combox for sale is this still the case? If so how much are you selling it for and will it fit my car and allow me to stream music and have the display on the nav screen? Regards, Aaron |

sorry, correct answer is
what device will be used for streaming ? if iphone - tune2air should work for android it seems that you'll replace MULF and TCU with combox, repin connector to combox 26-pin connector and recode headunit and combox to new options
