Regardless. You want to put a top of the line shock & strut with an average, older spring. You should match the springs with the shocks & struts you want so the car will optimally perform. Bilstein B8's are not in stock anywhere right now. Word is they will be back in stock in August. |

You can install them yourself with minimal work in about 15 minutes. On my 330i Sport suspension with Bilstein B6, I still had bounce at the rear UNTIL I installed the Dinan mounts. The mounts instantly solidified the rear vertically. Do it now. Thank me later. |

I've got KW V1's on my E92 xdrive, I really like them a lot. However, I've got the rear tucked into the fender so it's pretty damn low. I really like how it looks, but I've noticed the OEM shocks in the rear make a clunking noise when they bottom out. And they bottom out pretty easily. Could I move to an aftermarket shock like the Bilsteins to correct this, or is my option pretty much just to raise the rear end up a little higher?

Not in Europe though , lifetime warranty is valid only for US. And its a pitta since I need to use the car every day + costs to have it replaced and new alignment

It's not worth waiting. What if you finally get a set and one of the dampers is defective or fails, and replacements aren't available?

I went with the bmw pss kit because I couldn't drive around with a blown rear shock for any longer, and I'm so glad I went somewhere else, even though I originally wanted a b12 kit.

How are Bilstein B8s with Swift Spec R Springs?
I was originally going to go Koni Yellows but seeing as my 335i is going to get a complete M3 rear end conversion I will need to be running M3 specific rear shocks and unfortunately Koni does not supply any M3 application shocks front or rear The only thing I’m left with for a static suspension is Stock M3 or Bilstein B8s because I am dead set on running the Swift Spec Rs Anyone got any experience on the setup? |

Sorry about the old thread revive but Bilstein B8 struts/shocks sells at good prices in Germany at the moment. Ordered a rear set (2 shocks) for my E90 today for 166,40 € + 15 € shipping to Sweden, thats around 203* $ including 19% tax and shipping. In Sweden I would normally pay around that sum for one shock + shipping. A good tip for any EU European.
* no lifetime warranty though, just "normal" European 1-2 year warranty
