I'd say the only one that looks decent is the one with 2 BMW logo's and "BMW" printed in the middle.

The rest they do seem to fall down a bit.

I think alot of people like to step in an say "we know better than that" in a superior type of way.
I live in Germany so wanted the surrounds for ease when changing my plates over - my M3 is debadged as well. Couldn't care less if anyone else likes or dislikes them, everyone uses plate surrounds in Germany and at the end of the day its my car.

Thats what I think I do what I like with my car not what meets the approval of others. Heres another too, now don't tell anyone about this but I like non-oem aftermarket wheels!

Admitting the non OEM wheels were not fitted with winter tyres would be a far bigger crime

Where can I get a genuine one like yours from? I think the proper German ones look excellent unlike those naff M Power ones, which I'd hate to have on my car tbh.

scottishpete, unusual plate surrounds. Where/who did you purchase from, if you don't mind saying. Cheers.

Who cares if some people think they're naff? If you like them get them end of. Everyone has different tastes just because they don't approve dosent mean they don't look good.

Even though I have the M power ones I have got to admit I far prefer the less busy ones. I just prefer a numberplate holder generally because I don't like screws etc and have lost plates in the past by sticking them on.

I am looking for number plate holders.
I only liked the one with BMW in the centre and logos on both side.

Can somebody recommend decent number plate holder?

Thanks.

Like the surrounds, I don't bother with them though.

Having said that I have got a private plate and have asked Park Lane to make them up for snob value...

Pete, why make the swirly bits when we can clearly make out your plate as m3 ptr
