Best way to cap off tee on vacuum line.

Hey guys,

About to install a AA BOV in my car, and heard people breaking the brass nipple on the manifold hen connecting the vacuum line. So I heard people saying don't touch that and instead cap off one of the other side where the Y tee is.

Is this the safest way? Also what Gould I use to cap one side of tee.. Normal tape?

Cheers

Mine came off pretty easy, and I ran a new vacuum line. However my vacuum lines were glued to the diverter valves and I didn't realize, breaking one of the nipples off while trying to remove the line. Be prepared for a ton of oil in your charge pipe.
