Thanks for the update and all your efforts Todd. It is obviously out of your hands at this point and therefore the only ones failing us would be UUC for not keeping paying customers informed. I know a few of us tried calling ourselves and even PM'ing John@UUC here on the forums with the same result. UUC did respond to those in the m3 forums because a few members were really getting on their case. May be we can lighten the load by all calling or PM'ing UUC demanding their attention.

Just as a side note, if 1 wanted a refund would it be possible to get a refund on the DSSR at this point?

Well...finally got to speak to someone at UUC and got something remembling and answer. This isn't the answer I was hoping for, but at least it is something.

From what I was told the DSSR's are having to be carefully made on the CNC machine and each inspected for fit and accuracy. From what I am told the fitment issue with the M3 is not something that they want to duplicate, so they are really taking there time on the part. With that said, I was told that 1 of the machines is down (and has been for a period of time as they are getting new capabilities soon in that machining regard, but that doesn't help us now) and has cut their production to a snail crawl (slower than a regular crawl). Since this was and is a "new" part it is not something that was made or on the shelf, UUC is telling me that they are finally nearing completion for both the 335's and 135's, it takes time and unfortunately it has been way longer than they are any of us had initailly anticipated. They did tell me that this has been and is their top priority, but it has just been a trying and strenuous process for all of us and them as well. They should have the final DSSR's for everyone very soon, and shipping out very soon. As for an exact date they didn't want to give me one, but they are hopeful and feeling as if it should be within the next week or so. They did mention that the M3 parts all had to be redone and that just killed the production of these DSSR's (along with a machine going down), but they did get them and as far as they know everything was good with them and our people from this package buy, hopefully happy. I will keep you all updated as I hear more in the coming days. Thanks.

As far as the refund goes for the DSSR, you will need to contact UUC directly and have them refund your DSSR money...Craig and Cincy Speed sent all of the money and funds directly to UUC, so UUC will have to handle any refunds. I am hopeful that they are coming in a week or so, so if you can hang in there great, if not, BELIEVE me I understand! This seems to have taken longer and been more painful than giving birth, although I wouldn't know how painful it is to give birth! lol

So how was the fit/finish of the new M3 DSSRs? Did they turn out perfect? If so, I hope ours turn out at least as good.

Take a peek at the M3 board. The reaction seems to be mixed at best. There seem to be lots of problems with the DSSR and less than stellar reviews of the SSK.

Interesting... i'm not sure what types of problems can be had with the new DSSRs. I'll take a look at the M3post later.

What I'm really surprised about though is the SSK itself. I have a UUC SSK on my car right now (E92 335I) and it's definitely one of my top 3 favorite mods! I can't imagine driving the car without it!

If the DSSRs for our cars are anything like their EVO3 I'll be happy.

All dssr's should be shipping out mid next week (noting that Monday is a Holiday). This is right from Rob at UUC. So by mid next week this thing should be coming to an end...yeah!!!!!

We havent heard anything from a while. So I decided to call UUC and see if I could get an update. Here is my experience:

Call #1: I hit sales and got transferred to Rob. Not availble. Told not to leave VM via VM and to call back in 5-10 minutes.

Call #2: Went to shipping info, got transferred to Rob and disconnected.

Call #3: Rang twice and died.

Call #4: Rang and Rang to Sales. VM picked up and said Sales VM is not avaible. Disconnected.

Call #5: Rang 3 times and died.

Call #6: Called and Rob picked it up! Told him I was hoping for some info on the DSSR since they were supposed to ship last week. Told me that Todd should know everything and talk to Todd. I was like dude, I am already on the phone can you tell me? Short answer, no. Have to talk to Todd?

This is crazy. I know that delays happen, machines break, and everyone is all testy about this GB, but for real. How about some love UUC? Lucky for me that they dont have anything else I want to buy. Ever.

I was told they would be shipping last week (actually last Wednesday), now I am told they hadn't yet shipped but are in and done, except it (the DSSR) is waiting for some other part to go with it? UUC is telling me it will be any day, (I am hopeful) maybe tomorrow, maybe Thursday, maybe Friday?? So again I am hopeful that they will ship yet this week, so I am giving them the benefit of the doubt (for the next few days or so). This has been so crazy...!!! I promise to keep you guys posted, I will post any info I get in the thread. Sorry again, but it should be in all your hands very soon. I promise this is the first and only group buy I will help to organize...I have aged 10 years from this! If people keep calling and asking then they won't think I am pushing them and then you can get what I am getting, trust me this isn't fun for me, not only have I aged, but I now may be an alcoholic!??! If it makes it any better, I still haven't received my Evo3 yet either. So everyone here is still ahead of me...I hope. Thanks...sorry.

Ha ha, don't trip Todd. Restless crowd on E90post... nothing new.

To UUC's credit, I've ordered a couple of things from them already (shift knob and my EVO3 included) and have gotten nothing but great service from them. I really think there was just a production issue (which had to be worked out) and Rob is not the greatest with communication.

I'm still willing to wait... I just hope the DSSRs ship soon

I can finally tell everyone that the DSSR's have shipped and are on their way. You should all be receiving them in the next few days...I am going to be out of town, but if by Monday people don't have them in their hands I will start getting tracking #'s.
