Painting Interior Trim..

i was thinking of painting my interior trim glossy black or maybe a glossy grey.. anyway i was wondering if anybody has experience with this and if its a good idea or not, not sure if it will chip off...

thoughts...???

it is not a great idea, i have heard of it looking okay in the beginning and then just taking a dive after a little bit...imo your best bet is to wrap in a vinyl/fabric type of material, last a lot longer and would look a lot better!

i am 100% sure MAC can PAINT your trim... i assume aluminum is the easiest to paint over though... talk to them...

cheapest way is to wrap, and i think alex@helix does some wrapping

anyone ever think of anodizing their aluminum trim? could make it a blood red to match coral interior, or perhaps a dark charcoal to match black and add a touch of contrast

edit: i would attempt this, as there are many places in brooklyn that do this, but my alu trim is already dented and nicked all over from the seatbelt
