Sure - they are painted now.

But - be prepared to be disappointed with changing the color of your car from black to white.

painting it will make the price of your car go down if you plan on reselling it later on.

maybe get vinyl? if you dont like it, you can just peel it off.

vinyl is no option if you check my another thread http://www.e90post.com/forums/showthread.php?t=370228

Painting will be done in professional bodyshop so there are no worries about the paint quality.

its not paint quality. when you repaint a car, no matter the quality, the value of your car will go down.

ouchhhhhh those scratches look nasty... why don't you like black anymore?? whats making you paint it white??

oem paint will always make the car worth more, even if it has a flawless paint job done afterwards

by looking at your vin number, people will know what color the car is supposed to be.

when it shows up as a different color, it looks bad. it hurts the resale value.

just saw that post, oh man oh man but it would be a real good idea to stick with black, you dont want a mismatch with the vin.

oh and of course you can paint the pdc, just buy new covering caps (i think you can even order them pre painted)

just of of curiosity, how much more is it going to cost you painting it white than repainting it black? Is insurance covering it?

Let me put it this way. In order to do this properly, the bodyshop needs to remove the following:

Entire interior, including dash and headliner, seats, carpet, door panels, center console
All electrics
Engine and transmission
Headlights, taillights, all exterior trim
Suspension bits
All glass and weatherstripping
All underhood stickers removed/replaced

Basically - everything currently not painted black needs to be removed.

At the end of the day, you'll be left with a unsalable car with no warranty. If not done correctly then it'll look like a respray from 100 feet away and will look like crap up close.

Even if done properly, there will be several places where the respray will be visible.

Get it resprayed black and call it a day. If you don't like it then you can always sell it and buy a white one - financially you'll be far ahead - painting the whole ca a different color will literally decrease your resale value to near zero.

Yes, ultrasonic sensors can be painted. The thin layer of paint will not impair their function.

Not fully, I have to pay for the color change and for the places where are no scratches.
