LCI Headlight leveling and adaptive control

I swapped the original xenon headlights out of my 330i and replaced them with a set of LCI adaptive xenons. Since my new lights didn't have the adaptive control module and I don't care for that feature, I sealed the module openings on the bottom of my headlights.

Does this module control the adaptive function (left/right alignment) and the leveling (up/down leveling)?

I coded out the adaptive feature and the auto-leveling feature, but if I re-enable the auto-leveling will it still function without the adaptive modules connected to the headlight?

Is there any way to get a euro-style headlight switch with the manual control knob and use that to manually control the headlight leveling?
