Just did this conversion to my car. I didn't buy another manifold though. I decided to take a gamble and try and convert it to 3 stage, since the hole for it was already molded into the manifold. Worked out all good. I then flashed it with 325i software from Bimmerlabs.com. Big thanks to rjahl for creating the tune and uploading it to Bimmerlabs (for free) very generous of him to do that for nothing. Ive had the tune in the car for about 10 days now theres a very noticeable difference. Definitely worth doing, and the only cost was the price of a used small Disa off ebay for $110 and a bit of time. Shannon1, you should do this mate. I can send you the flash files if you want. I made a thread on it on the main site.

Hey mate, I just picked up a 323i E92 and was looking at the 3 stage manifolds from the 330i. I assume this wouldn't work since the 330i's are a 3.0L and mine is a 2.5L even though they both use the N52.

So what you're saying is just buy a DISA valve and it should fit into the stock intake for the 323i? If you wouldn't mind sending the flash files that would be massive. Cheers.

Yes you can use your existing manifold. It just needs the modification done to it to open up the DISA hole. Have a look at the link i posted above, it's got photos and a run down on the process.

If you're not comfortable doing the modification, just buy a 325i manifold. The 330i has larger intake runners and there will be a port mismatch which will hurt the airflow quite a bit i think.

Bimmerlabs.com now has the tuning files available for the 323i to 325i (free download) I would recommend downloading it straight from their website. Less chance of getting a corrupt file that way. There's a good step by step video guide for the flashing process here. It's exactly the same for the 323i to 325i flash.
