F1 2011

Just picked up F1 2011 for the Xbox....I've got a Xbox force feedback wheel set up with a 50inch TV and 500watt sound system...still cannot get my Force india into the top 15 after spending 2 hrs of practice in Melbourne

Forget KERS and DRS I cannot even shift gears fast enough!! Anyone else as bad at this game as me

Just select the Red Bull. Job done

Or does that just show up my naivety towards gaming and the reality is you have to earn your way up to the better cars?

I find a smaller room does the trick.

My 14" CRT portable looks huge in my shoebox.

Did you have 2010

How different is it? Loved 2010 but could never do manual gears.

It's hard enough concentrating on the lines

Ive had both on ps3 and 2011 is a little different...

graphics on 2011 are not as crisp i would say but they are a lot more vibrant, but the gameplay is much better.

Its very realist from tyres, weather, the track( staying on the racing line so you don't lose traction when picking up marbles). The AI of the other cars has greatly improved with blocking the racing line etc.

In my eyes its a great improvement this year apart from the graphics have not really changed for the better.

add me on ps3 for F1 2011 - mhalpin13

I binned 2010 as the contact was unrealistic. Presume 2011 is the same.

To much of an arcade game.

You should at least give it ago, change all the setting so theres no traction control, abs etc then you've got a great F1 2011 simulator

Just seen an advert mate, it looks fantastic. But I'm sure contact is similar to 2010, IE not realistic enough. Touch wheels and not much happens etc.

maybe this is true of touching wheels and going into the back of someone at slowish speeds and nothing will happen apart from they might spin but your front end will be ok or it would indicate orange (slight damage) but handling wouldn't change to much

Yeah thats why it ruins it for me. I'd rather play the PC based Grand Prix4 even if it is ancient.

The damage is non existent to unrealistic again - the graphics are better on 2011 than 2010 imo. Handling also better along with AI.
