Anyone got a Kindle
Hi all,
Wanted to know if anyone has a Kindle and whether they have used them for technical books (IT books such as CCNA/CCNP etc) I am considering getting one of the new ones at £89 especially as I have learnt they support PDF's but im not sure what the screen would be like in displaying diagrams etc. Wanted to know if anyone has used the Kindle for IT books and/or if not can someone who has one load up a PDF I supply to see what it renders like? Mucho thanks

When I had mine I found PDFs difficult read on it due to screen size especially if the text was small in the PDF, I had keep zooming in and out and scrolling round the page, I brought a ipad2 and that is excellent at viewing a4 PDF files because they fit to screen and can be read easy.

yeh im not sure i want to use my ipad for all the reading ive got coming in the next few months...its quite heavy and the screen eventually hurts my eyes. I have seen a kindle once in the flesh and the text was amazing.
Its just a shame that they are really designed for fiction books and not for tech books

On the plus side at least the iPad natively supports PDFs. I've got all my Cisco books on mine.
