Not sure if this has been mentioned before but a quick search didn’t find it.

This website uses data from the DVLA to display how many of each type of make/model are taxed and on UK roads. The description it brings up is as displayed on your V5

I love stuff like this as I am slightly nerdy when it comes to stats.

I’ll get things started:

As a 335d owner there are only 755 of us out there on the UK roads who had the sense to buy the nice practical touring model, of which 609 of them are MSport’s. This may explain why it was so difficult to find a good example and why you don’t see them too often.

Interestingly there are still more VW Corrado 16V’s in existence at 915, again it’s no surprise that I don’t see many of them about either. Unfortunately the one I used to own isn’t one of the 915 unless somebody has put it onto a private plate. R.I.P.
